Pazo de Sergude is located in a beautiful walled estate in Galicia. Its leafy woodland and fabulous garden give access to a 4 hectare private forest. The Pazo´s most remote predecessor dates back to 1674, D. Ruy Fernández de Camaño, Lord of Pazo de Sergude, from a lineage that links with The Romero de Moscosos, owners of many areas of the Bergantiños region.
The house has been maintained for generations. Since its construction in the late 17th century, the house has belonged to the same family. In the seventies the pazo was restored by the architect and owner Mr. German Álvarez de Sotomayor y Castro, with the intention of preserving its identity and original features.
In 2011, its actual owner Dª Isabel Álvarez de Sotomayor y Urcola has made several improvements for the perfect house preservation.
The property is protected and listed by National Heritage in Spain. The area is famous for its Rias Altas, white sand beaches open to the Atlantic Ocean, undeveloped coastline and possibly the best fish and shellfish in Europe.
