Just a few minutes from the historic center of Seville lies Huerta de Lebrena Country House, a great example of the Sevillian architecture known as Haciendas Olivareras. The Haciendas are one of the most characteristic examples of agrarian architecture of the area, as they have been a vital part of the landscape, culture, economy and history of Andalusía.
This traditional property not only offers 6 wonderful bedrooms, but also beautiful views from the many terraces. The main courtyard, where the main activities used to take place, oozes character being the most characteristic part of the house.
This property grows orange trees and other fruit trees due to its privileged location on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. This “Cortijo” has belonged to the same family since the mid 19th century. The Marquis of Salvatierra and Paradas owns a large collection of vintage horse-drawn carriages from the Duke of Montpensier’s collection, many of which can be viewed in the carriage room.
