Minutes away from the center of Madrid, in Aravaca, we find the former residence and current museum of Francisco Daurella, businessman and art collector. Mr Daurella rehabilitated and conditioned his house to transform it into a Museum. The building houses the best private art collection in Spain, with modernism and impressionism from the 19th and 20th century.
In a privileged environment, of extreme warmth, 250 artworks of Sorolla, Nonell, Casas, Mir, Renoir, Fortuny, Anglada Camarasa, Rusinol, Dalí, Miró, Tapies, Torres Carcía are intermingled with beautiful antiques. The central theme of the collection is to provide a dynamic vision of what occurred between the late-19th century and mid-20th.
