Extremadura (West)

Extremadura is the Land of Conquerors, as in the times of the conquest of the Americas in the sixteenth century, Trujillo played an important role. Some of the most important discoverers of the new world were born in this city and, thanks to the wealth they brought back, it was possible to build most of the monuments that can be visited today.

Among the most important buildings you can visit are the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, a World Heritage Site and the Monastery of Yuste, place where Emperor Carlos V spent his last years once left the crown to his son Philip II.

Our collection of splendid in Extremadura are a splendid base to explore the region.
